Bridge Loop
342” x 121” window installation
Plywood, latex paint, graphite
Sam Fox School Gallery
2026

Viewable from the sidewalk, Bridge Loop presents a series of playful, hinged plywood shapes. The flat planes to angularly assert from the zig-zag'd wall, creating many angles to view the work. Negative spaces between the cutout shapes become new frames for each other and for the drawing and painting on the walls.

"Bridge" and "loop" are both nouns as well as verbs: Joining, repeating, interlocking, constructing, mechanizing, a length of line curved to make an opening, a closed circuit, continuously replayed, a structure which spans a gap, a structure carrying a pathway
